Tralla had been putting this off for a while, she knew she needed to, especially since as an Andorian her biological clock was always ticking loudly. Sure this would not be the first time, Her daughter Lilith was living on earth with Jade’s family but that was the problem, wasn’t it? She was a horrible mother, she had not been there for Lilith and she was not right now either. How could she be thinking about this when she had already proven that she was the worst mother ever, she took a deep breath and sighed in the corridor just outside the Counselors office. she raised a blue hand and rubbed her face, her antenna was showing a mix of emotions she was feeling displeasure and annoyance to name just a couple. yet she did promise BJ that she would do this, she reached up and rubbed the temples of her head another headache thanks to her ocular implants.and there was the other thing that was holding her back, The dreams…One of three haunted her still seven years after having had her encounter with the borg. How could she be a proper mother, when she had been subject to the horrors of those Monsters! she was not worthy to be a mother, but again she promised she would talk to the counselor about this, so swallowing her pride and everything else that had been rampaging through her mind, she rang the chime on the counselor’s office door and waited to be invited in.
Tralla
The door swished open with a metallic shriek, revealing a lithe figure adorned in medical blues. Aasu knelt beside a wooden crate and extracted tiny, plexiglass-entrapped plants from its belly. Rising, they hooked the string around their thumb and climbed onto a two-step stool to hang it from adhesive hooks staggered across the ceiling. The terrariums accompanied a pair of standard-issue arms chairs and a drab coffee table. Though harmless and almost unnoticeable, they added warmth and vitality to an otherwise stale corner. Aasu hoped to extend that warmth across their office… but it was a process. One thing at a time, eh?
“Captain,” Aasu welcomed from their negligible perch, “it’s wonderful to see you again.”
Oshekye released the last terrarium to its hook and stepped from the ladder, nudging the crate aside. “Please,” they made an encompassing gesture to the room, “make yourself at home.” Their office existed in a state of influx. Crates lined the wall behind their PaDD-covered desk, while plants and loamy decor transformed the therapy area into a mini-arboretum. Well… almost. Many of the plants were synthetic to account for patient allergies and intolerances; but, it was the ambience that mattered. “Forgive the disarray,” they snagged their personal PaDD and cleared the others to a barren crate lid, “you caught me in the middle of unpacking.”
“But that’s not a problem,” Aasu assured, “what brings you by, Captain?”

“Im sorry I should have called ahead…But knowing myself…I probably would have canceled or something....made some excuse not to confront this issue…” she sighed taking one of the two chairs making it clear this was a full-on Session her Antenna was twisting and showing that she was not feeling very comfortable at the moment something was clearly bothering her and she needed to talk about it
Tralla
Oshekye sensed the tension in Tralla’s writhing antennae and halted, averting their course from ‘complementary tea’ to the chair kitty corner from her. “I’m very happy you came to see me today,” they lowered themself to the cushion with a warm and patient smile, “and please know that you can stop me at any time if you’re uncomfortable.” Aasu wavered for a few heartbeats. “I noticed you used the word ‘issue’,” they observed, “do you mind telling me a bit more about it and how it makes you feel?”
