Lieutenant T’Shain had then thought about what the captain had said. She then pondered for a little bit. She had then thought about the Chief Science Officer. She had then decided to hit her combadge. =/\= Lieutenant Cherp’Eng. I’m the new ship’s counselor. The captain has asked me to check in with everyone. I hope I’m not intruding. Please report to my office at your earliest convenience. =/\= She said with a slight pause.

=/\= It would be more convenient for me if you were to meet me in my quarters, Counselor. =/\= Cherp’Eng replied after a moment, =/\= Allow me to explain, I’m not being difficult. I’m responsible for an offspring, and the female who was the mother decided to leave the egg with me to care for and raise. My egg is at a delicate stage of its development at present and requires almost constant supervision by myself. Too much movement can negatively impact my offspring’s development. I take my offspring with me to the science department when I am on shift, and one of my team takes care of it when I am on shift or away team duty, but as the only other Avisarite on board, there are things that only I can do, and there are times at which those things can be done. Now is one of the times that both coincide. However, there is no reason why we can’t take both of my counselling appointment while I am performing parenting duties. My egg will be perfectly quiet and not distract our session, and you can say anything in front of my egg. I have a chair and a desk for your use. I look forward to seeing you here at your earliest convenience. =/\= As the Avisarite spoke, the sounds of other bird calls of different volumes and speices floated through as well. It sounded very musical and relaxing.
