In main engineering, Ensign Nosey was sitting at one of the consoles half asleep. He hated Gamma shift. Nothing and he meant NOTHING happened. He was lost in his own thoughts when an alarm sounded in the distance, a low buzzing that was not normal. Ensign Nosey sat up trying to figure out where it was coming from. He walked over to one of the conduits and found wires sparking where they had been chewed through? He shook his head and rubbed his eyes “What the????”

He hit his comm badge “Lt. Kaia, we have a situation in main engineering. I need your help now!”

Nosey carefully climbed into the hatch and began investigating a little bit more as to what happened to the wires and conduits.

Kaia popped her head out of a hatch on the other side of engineering. She was covered in dust and a little bit of grease, and her fur looked a little singed. “Sup, Nosey?”

Immediately noticing what the lad was paying attention to, she fell out of the hatch (which was quite high on the wall), landed on her feet, and bounded over to get a closer look. “Get your nose out of there and turn off the section before you electrocute yourself, Ensign.”
