Bjarke ducked down as he moved through the door to sickbay, a large red welt still pulsed in the middle of his forehead. He looked to find the nearest nurse. “Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson her for my physical, I’m not sure who I’m supposed to check-in with. ” he said he deep timbered voice carrying the room as he stood and looked around the room his.Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic AttachéA nurse looked up at the Lieutenant as he walked, her eyes immediately drawn to the welt in the middle of his forehead. She quickly engaged eye contact with him, fighting the urge to flick her gaze back up to his forehead.
“Let me just get your medical records up,” she said with a smile. “And how are you spelling Victorson?” She asked.
Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical OfficerBjarke looked down at her and smiled. “Height has it’s disadvantages he laughed rubbing the fresh goose egg” he grinned. “V.i.k.t.o.r.s.s.o.n” he responded to her question.
His medical record read like it came out of the dark ages, broken wrist from hammer strike, color bone dislocated from a shield bash. It went on and on, most of his injuries were from training with his clan in the old ways only a couple injures were related to his time in starfleet.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic Attaché“Dr Hudson is currently finishing with another patient.” The nurse explains. “In the meantime, would you like me to take a look at it?” She asked, casting her gaze up to his head.
Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical OfficerHe laughed a large bellowing laugh, “It’s just a goose egg not much to do but let it heal, if you would like to check it that would be fine” he said he mouth turning up in a large smile.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic AttachéThe nurse nodded as she scanned the contusion. “Ahh yes, nothing too sinister.” she said, picking up a dermal regenerator from one of the gurneys. After waving it a few times over Bjarke’s forehead, she placed it back down. “There, all sorted.”
Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical OfficerBjake rubbed his forhead. “Thank you Lieutenant, though I do wonder if us being able to erase our stupidity so easily is a good thing. The dule throb certainly reminds me to check the door clearance before walking through it.” he laughed.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic AttachéOOC: My bad, forgot to sign off with an NE signature!
The nurse giggled, before placing the dermal regenerator back on the gurney.
“Lieutenant Viktorsson?” A voice called out across sickbay. Ben was stood a few meters away, with a PADD in hand, clearly finished with his last patient.
Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical OfficerBarke raised his had. “Thank you Nurse” he said with a smile. “Here sir!” he looked over resting his hands on the side of the bio bed while he sat, his massive arms straining the fabric of tunic.
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic Attaché“Ahh, welcome aboard, Bjarke.” Ben said with a smile as he started waving a tricorder around. Whilst Bjarke was sat on the biobed, he was still taller than Ben. Ben was silently glad that the tricorders of the 25th Century operated at range, unlike their 23rd Century counterparts which required the small sensor to be closer - he would have had to have been on his tiptoes.
“I’m assuming you’re bucking the trend of most new joiners, and actually getting your joining medical out of the way?” he said with a grin.
Lt. Hudson
Chief Medical OfficerBjarke smiled. “Well I would rather get to know the medical staff early, I tend to be in sickbay a lot” he said with a smile, his scans revealing so many fractures and repaired tissue that it was not clear how many times he actually had needed major surgery . “My people tend to get a little rough” he grinned
Lieutenant Bjarke Viktorsson
Diplomatic Attaché
“That I can see…” Ben said, looking over the scans and then Bjarke’s medical record. “I do run a monthly sweep stake on the crew member that requires the most medical intervention… I can see you being a bookies favourite.” he continued.
“Do any of your previous injuries cause you any grief?” he asked.
