Her first week on board the Manhattan has been going far better than she imagined. Already she had more social engagement than she had anticipated, and even though it was still a hard adjustment, Ka’Sora was finding small ways to not only make her days less lonely but to also share her culture as much as she could.

She had found a table in the Lounge (her first foray to the space) and had two padds. One rested on the table and was where she was brainstorming the meal she would cook for others, and in her hand was a letter she was composing to her mother and brother. As much as she wanted to send constant video messages, it wasn’t practical. So she was planning to take images to include in the message and someone would make sure her family received them.
