The newly disguised Commanding Officer entered the conference room and took his seat. He pulled up all available information on the planet and the culture there, and then tapped the comms =/\= Cochrane to Away Team and XO. Meet in the Conference Room in ten minutes for final prep for mission embarkation. =/\=

Cochrane, CO

The sound of his voice had just barely faded when the doors opened and Shedda walked in. She stopped and gave him a once over. “Dr. Hudson does good work. You’re excited.”

Cmdr. Mal’athar, XO

Cochrane laughed and said “He does. And yes I am. I was hoping the new face would hide it better.” He looked at the display of the information gleaned from the planet ‘s communications, libraries, and archives. “How similar to Vulcan are these people, Shedda? And do you think my familiarity with Vulcan culture will help us, or muddy the waters so-to-speak?”

“I think maybe I just know you well by now, Captain.” Shedda moved to her chair and sat. “I think that it may help you in observing and getting a base line for what is naturally their culture and what may have been influenced. But even if you are 99% certain something is Vulcan and know what to do, proceed with caution. Sometimes even subtle difference are a big deal.”
