Shedda had no plans for shore leave. Event Horizon was fun, and she would probably spend her time on the station. She wouldn’t waste the credits staying at the Ambassador hotel. There was no need with the Manhattan docked and not leaving any time soon. Shedda’s rotation for leave wasn’t for a couple of days, so she was sitting on the bridge, watching the worker bee shuttles move around the outside of the hull, and reading a PaDD that had the lastest Archeological publishings from the Beta Quadrant.

=/\=Phorgat to Mal’athar. Ma’am I need you to come down to the air lock. We have a problem.=/\= Shedda sighed, =/\=On my Lt. Mal’athar out.=/\= She left the bridge in Mornair’s control and took the lift down to the airlock.

Shedda couldn’t imagine what the problem was now. Any issues with leave and visitors had been handled. Maybe it was new equipment coming on board. Either way, it would be a small break in the quiet of sitting at the station with nothing much to do but stare at a blank view screen.
