Faye didn’t actually need the introduction, but they wouldn’t know that, nor would they understand why. All the same, Faye pretended as if the introduction was needed. She did take in the diminutive engineer with curiosity and a respectful nod. “Hello. As I told the Chief, I apologize in advance if my work creates a mess, but I promise to help with the clean up.”

“Let me know when you get started” Max told Faye, “and if you need me around while your working on it, i’ll be happy to help. Things are running pretty well down here for now.”

Lt Cmdr Wynter, CE

“I’ll keep you apprised,” Faye reassured him. “I promised Lieutenant Hammor I’d inform him about my expected power draws, so I suspect you’ll get that info as well. But if not, just let me know and I’ll pass it along.”

Kaia’s first impression of Faye, from the behaviour that she had seen so far was that this “Data Specialist” was one of those people who thought they knew everything. She had that kind of high and mighty feeling of someone who knows something that they think is so important that whatever you know is dirt in comparison. The young engineer assumed that she probably wasn’t going to like her much. She looked at her CE quietly, then smiled at Faye again. “Well, I have a little more maintenance to finish, so I’ll be off,” she said, slipping back into the Jeffries’ Tube and closing the cover.

Calloway shifted her gaze from the retreating engineer to the CE and shrugged. “Guess I better get to work myself. See you later, and hopefully not because I owe you pizza,” she said with a cheeky grin.
