It was an odd hour for a meeting. Well probably not, Shedda was still working through putting herself back on a ‘typical’ sleep schedule. She was very interested to me Calloway, their intel officer. Shedda’s last ship wasn’t big enough nor their area of patrol warranting of an intel officer. Shedda was interested to see how the position fit in on a longer term assignment rather than mission specific.

She made her way down the corridor and stopped in front of the lab door and pressed the chime.

“It’s open,” Faye called out after entering a code to unlock the door.

The square windowless room held a bank of computer work stations on one side adjacent to the door, a large worktable in the middle of the room and crates of cargo tidily stored on the opposite wall. The brown-haired Human was sitting in the middle of the five workstations and three of the computers screens had something going on them. The one before Faye was scrolling lines of data that was she was watching intently. “What can I do for you, Commander?” Faye said with only the briefest of glances towards the visitor.
