NE Gibson was in the CNS’ office for evaluation when the crash occurred, both the CNS and the young NE braced for impact when it was announced, but they had remained unconscious for several hours. They were among the unaccounted for several hours until a NE from Security found the door jammed and blocked by debris. After the removal of the debris, the security officers started pounding on the door to check if they were alive. The two injured officers awoke to the sound of the hard pounding on the door. They were fortunately not covered by debris, but the pain on their bodies made it difficult to move or stand up. They would need to be carried to sickbay.
