Natalie sat down at the head of the table and reviewed the information that she had just received from Lt. Vock. She hoped that he had returned to his quarters as ordered to rest for a little while.

While she waited for her requested crew to arrive, she opened a comm link to Star Fleet Command and demanded to speak with Admiral Hirakura. Once the Admiral was on the line, she began repeating the story =^=, my new CMO and his transport team were attacked, unprovoked by a Federation Ship. Two of them are critically injured and in Sickbay. My CMO is shaken up, well as shaken as a Vulcan can be, however shaken none the less as well as injured.”

The admiral held up his hand =^=What are you trying to say Captain Greer, a Federation ship attacked another Federation ship without reason? That is ridiculous. Why would they do that?=^= Natalie shrugged =^=Admiral, I can only report to you what was reported to me. We have the shuttle in our shuttle bay, we are going to be doing a full investigation into this incident. When I find out additional information, I will notify you…if it was indeed a Federation ship that did this, I want them charged and brought to justice.=^= Natalie said clearly angry and closed the comms link.

She poured herself a cup of coffee and reviewed her notes. This was infuriating.

Mason came in shortly after the call from the Bridge, he had sent the Asimov on it’s course towards Earth after their little incident with the shuttle while the CO took care of those matters directly. Moving to his seat, he gave Natalie a nod. “Captain.” He said simply and took his seat, notably without a cup of coffee with him.
