‘Volk’ slipped out of the lounge of the cruise-liner and into the main passageways, flicking an ear and nodding slightly in acknowledgment of a fellow serving-class, a waiter carrying drinks. Unlike the high-class passengers, they could afford to be truly polite to one another without it being steeped in politics. He continued walking through the corridors, quietly following his mental map of the ship and the schedules of the crew, winding around in a seemingly aimless wander on the way to the scrambler room. He wasn’t planting the charges right now, that would be happening closer to the time of the extraction, but he liked to get his eyes on a place before having to actively infiltrate it. He had a cover story cooked up just in case anyone questioned his presence, but hopefully he wouldn’t need to use it.
