Leaving the transporter room, Kohana made his way directly to Sickbay for his physical. He was the perfect specimen of physical health, and if the doctors founf anything wrong, he would be the most surprised.

Kohana could run a mile in less than 5 minutes, swim 100 meters in less that one minute, and average an 8.0 in most gymnastic Olympic events.. He also excelled in many others sports and worked hard to keep himself in shape.

He entered Sickbay and the doors swooshed close behind him. Stepping forward, he addressed the least busy nurse in the room.

“Excuse me, nurse. I’m Lt. Black Wolf, and just arrived on board. I’m schedule for my physical.”

The nurse looked him up and down, replying, “Leiutenant, from what I’m seeing, a physical is the last thing you need. . . but I suppose I’ll get a doctor for you. Have a seat on the Biobed and a doctor will be here soon.”

He blushed slightly and smile. ‘Thank you,” he replied as he took a seat.

A few moments later a middle-aged human male wearing a red bathrobe, with a medical blue uniform underneath and lieutenant pips on collar approached the bio-bed.

“Lt. Black Wolf? I’m Dr. Pierce. I’ll be administering your physical today. Dr. Izei is busy elsewhere on the ship.”

“Pleasure to meet you, doctor,” Kohana replied, handing Pierce his Padd with complete medical records visible. Pierce uploaded the records into the ship’s medical database. While scanning the information, Pierce let out a low whistle., and began his scanning of the patient.

“You do keep yourself in shape, don’t you, Lt. No childhood diseases, no broken bones, no concussions, strains, or sprains. BMI of 23.7. Peak human conditions!”

“I’m a firm believer in a ‘healthy body, healthy mind’ school of thought, doctor.”

“Please, call me Hawkeye. It’s a nickname my father gave me when I was younger. It’s a character from his favorite book Is there anything else going on or concerns I need to address?”

“Nope, you said it yourself, Hawkeye, peak condition.”

“Well, if more of the ship’s crew was in your condition, about the only time I’d be busy is if we’re under attack. And I’m okay with that NOT happening.” He signed of on Kohana’s PADD and added, “You’re good to go, Lt. Let me know if anything comes up.”

“Will do, Hawk.” He slipped the PADD back under his arm and and exited sick bay. Next it was off to deck 6 and the counselor’s office.
