As her stomach roiled, Shara slid off the edge of the bathtub and moved over towards the toilet. And promptly threw up. And it was like a switch had gone off and she started crying , but there was hysterical laughter all mixed into it.

Micah looked at her, very concerned now. This was not like her, and it was definitely not because of a hangover. He moved next to her, pulled her hair back, and held her arm as she leaned over the toilet. “Sha… baby what the hell is going on? Talk to me… please.” he said softly.

Her free arm bracing herself above the toilet seat, Shara tried to calm her sobbing enough to speak and she forced herself to take deep breaths. After a couple minutes, she could at least breathe without the panic. She lifted her head but couldn’t gaze at him just yet. “What do you remember from last night?”
