Micah looked at her for a moment and then said “You now, I got an encrypted comms station and dedicated feed here. Why not just call ‘em and ask for your next job from here? You can know where you’re going and have some time to either get used to the idea or try and change it. And we can always make a trip and pick up your crate and bring it back, if you want. Up to you. Might be easier to sort through here than in a hotel room the night before a shuttle flight.”

She gave a slow nod. “Can do…” It was a pretty basic trip and there were transporter hubs all over the place. Hell, they could probably beam from his ship! The thought amused her. “You know, if I had to guess, you just want to be around when I go through my things because you’re curious what I’d have in there,” she said, waggling her brows.

Micah looked at her and said “I won’t deny a certain curiosity as to what you think is important, no. But I also want you to have the chance to do that, too.” He took a drink and swallowed, taking in a breath as the warmth hit home. “And it also means you bending over and we watching that, so it’s a win-win.” and he grinned at her.

Micah

A chuckle rumbled in her throat. “Well, wouldn’t want to to deny you the view. It is a very good one, after all.” And despite the banter she made no move to kiss him or start anything. In fact she was quite content just being cozy here with him, which was something new and lovely.

Shara held out a hand and wiggled her fingers. “I feel slightly fuzzy,” she said with a laugh before knocking back more ‘shine.
