Ensign Jalkov caused more trouble than he solved. JK would have to spend time repairing those damaged relationships and potentially psyches as well. He heard the door chime and rose to his feet. : He crossed to the door and said, “Enter please.” : As the door opened he saw the lieutenant in the colours of medicine or science. : “Enter, please, Lieutenant,” John-King said, “can I get you something to eat, or perhaps a hot beverage. I am John-King McKenzie, ship’s counsellor.” : - JK McKenzie, CNS : LeFleux walked in and smiled at the greeting before extending his hand. : “Dr Gerald LeFleux, I’m the new CMO pleased to meet you Counselor.” : Dr LeFleux considered the counsellors offer… it had actually been some hours since he’d last taken refreshment. : ”.....and cup of coffee would be most welcome, thank you.” :

John-King ordered the beverages, a coffee for the Lieutenant, with milk and sugar to the side, and a caramel thickshake for himself.
“Very pleased to meet you, Dr LeFleux,” John-King said, placing the coffee, milk and sugar on the end table next to the couch, “coffee as you requested, please add sugar and milk to your taste. And please, hit the couch.”
By couch, it was a 3 seater lounge, black in colour, with white throw pillows on it. John-King sat in one of the matching armchairs, and looked at a padd before speaking, “first things first, Lieutenant, how was serving as Chief Surgeon at the Academy? How will that impact on your service to the Asimov and its crew?”
