Stepping off the turbolift at 0759 hours, Shara Calloway was a different woman than the one people had met last night. Gone was the casual attire and seemingly relaxed demeanour. In her perfectly tidy uniform, Shara was the spitting image of a Starfleet officer, from her rolled and pinned hairdo right to her polished boots. Her assessing gaze took in every station and each person with precision before she moved to the ready room and pressed the chime.

Commander Calloway CIO

Precisely on time. “Enter.” Sara rose from her seat behind her desk. “Commander Calloway. Welcome to the Asimov. Please, have a seat.” Sara sat as she gestured to the chair across her desk. She leaned on her desk and steepled her fingers. “So, Commander, how are you?”

Moving with a measure pace and ease in her limbs, Shara settled into the chair and took in Kiernan. “Just dandy. I know my sudden arrival is a surprise, but for me this is same old, same old. Just a very different setting than I’m used to.” She wasn’t sure if her presence was a welcome one or not yet, but this type of vessel almost demanded some sort of Intelligence Officer. That they were getting someone of Shara’s experience? Perhaps less likely but likely to their benefit. Or at least she hoped.

Sara had a history with Starfleet Intelligence. She didn’t trust that Calloway would give a straight answer to anything. “Commander, what can you tell me about the nature of your assignment here?”
