Shore stepped off the turbo lift and headed for the sickbay, it had been a good few years since having a checkup although he didn’t envisage on anything being a miss.

Pressing the enter button, the door opened, he was met with a dim-lit room and silence.

“Always good to see no action going on here” Shore thought to himself.

Shore stepped inside wanting and hoping this would be a quick examination.

Trax exited his dimly lit office as the medical section was quiet as he heard a door open. As he stood from his desk and moved towards the main sickbay area as he saw an officer in the shadows. “Computer return lights to normal conditions.” as the computer beeped and complied with the request as the lights came up in sickbay empty of patients. “Hello there Ensign what can I help you with? Its strange to get a visitor or transfer this late. But you’re more than welcome. I am Doctor Trax Suder the CMO here in my humble Sickbay.” as he waited for the ensign to answer.

Shore’s eyes adjusted to the rapid changing lights in front of him, he swiftly answered the Lt as it seemed he really didn’t want to hang around, “No bad thing” he thought to himself.

“Ensign Shore reporting for my initial physical sir..” he said.

“Please have a seat on the main biobed and we can get the physical done and over with. Most of all are not comfortable being here.” Trax Said as a matter of fact. As he grabbed a tricorder to start his scans and readings. “Did they give you your medical charts from your last posting?” Trax asked kindly to the officer. As he waved the small device over the officer.

Shore tried to relax when getting his scan.

“They did” he replied quickly “Everything seemed clear and easy-going” he stated with a chirpy tone, hoping it would speed up the process.

Shore never had a fitness or medical problem in his time in service, his parents we’re sports savants and his brother participated in all the latest parici square tournaments “Made quite a name for himself” he thought.
