The transporter field enveloped Ranlei and NE Wakey Wake and then they were on the transporter padd on the ship. Ranlei picked Wakey Wake up again and moved him off the padd so the others could be beamed up. =^= Medical team to transporter room one.=^=, she ordered. =^=Captain NE Wakey Wake is wounded, He and I are on the ship. The CoS and CE were still engaged with the alien ooze.=^=, she wanted to say more but the Captain would know what to do.

NE Helpful at the transporter controls was quick to relay the pair to Sickbay 2 where they would appear with NE Wakey Wake on a biobed. NE Fil and Fan came over in a rush to quick triage both soon turning their attention to Wakey Wake. “..He has a deep laceration along his spinal cord! Ensign you need to stop struggling!” Fil said trying to get a hypo into his arm to put him under some sort of anesthesia.

”..Argh but it HURTS” He said as the acrid stench of burning flesh and muscle filled the area. Fan finally got him still enough for Fil to inject him and the NE was soon out like a light. The two quickly set to restraining the Ensign by forcefield on the biobed and having him lay on his stomach while they went to work operating.

Meanwhile NE Bibs came over looking Ranlei over. “..Please hop up onto the biobed here. Tell me if anything stands out as hurting?” he asked while scanning her with a medical tricorder.

Just as all this happened another transporter beam in occurred with Lieutenant Miz’uki arriving at another biobed nearby! NE Uf’lee a rare female Flea’tan assigned tothe Ark Angel’s crew came over. “..Lieutenant what is happening down there?” the Flea’tan female asked helping the Caitain onto a biobed with ease.

Miz’uki had run into the flea’tan before, at her last posting on the USS Legend, so she was not surprised by the Flea’tan person. “The drill team uncovered some kind of Corpse eating goo monster, the goo it throws about is Acidic got some on the top of my head!” she hissed in pain since the adrenaline was starting to wear off a bit. “But the creature got NE Wakey full on in the back with that stuff!” she added letting the NE take a look at her scalp. “It’s going to take forever for the fur to grow back.” Miz’uki moaned, in addition to everything else.

NE Uf’lee looked over her scans. “..Maybe longer then usual in fact. The acidic ‘goo’ as you called it seeped into your pores. Badly damaging the nerve endings and hair growth in that spot. Thankfully it seems not to have gone too deeply to cause brain damage. In fact from what I can tell the ‘fresher’ the meat the less acidic it is in concentration.” Uf’lee said glancing at NE Wakey Wake. “..Which is good for you and Ensign Wakey Wake to say the least.” She stated.

Moving to the biobed’s medical cart she retrieved a hypo. “..This hypo of medication will help ease the pain, however nerve tissue regeneration and hair follicle regrowth will take a month or two to fully heal before nature growth and feeling returns..” She explained injecting the medication which quickly eased the burning sensation. “..Beyond this you should be free to return to your duties once the medication kicks in..” she reported.

“Oh That’s Just Purrrfect!” she growled very annoyed at the idea “Thank you for your help Ensign It is annoying that this is going to take much longer than I would like to heal however I should be glad I am not as laid up as Ensign Wakey” she said making sure the Flea’tan officer knew that the feline Chief engineer was not mad at her but rather annoyed by the fact she was going to have a bald spot for a couple months

”..Not a problem Lieutenant, if you’ll excuse me then..” Uf’lee said moving on to return to her duties.

As her head started to feel a little better she got up and was ready to leave the sickbay Miz’uki hit her commbadge “Lieutenant Miz’uki to Captain Andone Do you have a moment to talk about what happened” she asked trying to keep the annoyance out of her voice

Ranlei stayed next to NE Wakey Wake trying to sooth him and calm him, she sat on the biobed when told to but never released the NE’s hand completely. Other than some dizziness and nausia caused by the dose of wake up juice she sufferred nothing more than a few bruises from having been dropped when Wakey had been hit by the ooze. She looked over at the CE when she arrived and over heard her exchange with the nurse. Vaibity about her appearance was something Ranlei understood. “I don’t know Chief. It actually is a good look on you. Less girly. Makes you interesting. With a bit of styling it might just set a new style trend.”, she said kindly while never letting go of NE Wakey’s hand. It was the most she had said to any of the female crew since Kara the former CSO had been transfered. She thought maybe she ought to go with the CE to see the Captain. But the idea of being in the same room as two powerful women terrified her. She had never quite gotten over her trust issues.
