Simon looked over the Ensign and noted the smaller stature of the man. “Ahh, yes. The one that was sent back to Earth. Welcom aboard. At ease, Ensign,” Simon answered in a southern British accent. Standing at just under six foot tall, an athletic build, Simon had tidy brown hair, brushed to the left side. The way he moved and presented himself definitely showed that he had performed manual labour for the younger years of his life.

Walking to the replicator, Simon produced a coffee for himself and then turned to Chavez. “Would you like anything to drink?” he asked.

“A coffee would be nice, sir.” Domingo responded while standing easy. He had noticed the way the security chief carried himself and decided a purely physical confrontation would be unwise. It was a good thing it was unnecessary.

Ensign Chavez, Sec

Simon produced the requested drink at the replicator and put it down on the desk in front of one of the seats, gesturing for the officer to take a seat. “So, this isn’t your first posting, based on your records, the Dresden correct?” Starr asked with curiosity. He knew there were some things that he didn’t have access to in the record in between then and now, but knew whatever it was resulted in his previous dismissal. He was cautious when seeing that in the records and especially when the reason was redacted. He didn’t show this outwardly, however.

Domingo sat in front of the desk as directed before reaching for the coffee. He held the cup in his hands and just savored the warmth for a moment before taking a sip.

“The Dresden was my last ship, though not my first. The Ark Angel is actually my fifth posting.” Domingo replied, “I left the Dresden along with the counselor and we both came to the Ark Angel. I just didn’t find myself fitting in well with the crew.”
