[snip]=/\= I was not aware hold the prisoner in the bay and I’ll be down immediately don’t let the shuttle leave..=/\= she said
Starr awaited the response and with NE Watchful Eye following behind, and made his way to the shuttlebay where this prisoner was being transferred. “Be ready for anything” he said as they entered into the shuttlebay.

The Runabout Ardent Angel sat on it’s landing pad on the side of the bay with several of the bays crew standing about waiting. Normally they would of been busy offloading the Runabout already. But as per the orders of NE Docking operations officer Sterling. The Runabout hadn’t even been allowed to open it’s hatches. It was in fact locked down With docking clamps.
NE Sterling stood near the Runabout waiting on security. He had a padd in hand and a phaser on his hip just in case. He was calling on the bay crew to “keep back wait on security”, when the CoS and others entered.. he took a sharp intake of breath as he saw the Captain was in the group, and stood straighter. As a junior officer he had seen her only once before and then at a distance. “Sir. Some kind of screw up. There is no prisoner transfer on record. The crew rotation is onboard missing one ensign who didn’t sign in. Apparently the civilian population was in a panic over something and the Ardent Angel was loaded and sent off in a rush without the usual formalities with a prisoner added with no explanation. Just do not interact. Do not release. Deliver to the Ark Angel from the Chief of base security. Pilot says the security team looked worse for wear.”,
Sterling wanted this over with. He blurted out everything he knew in a hurry and hoped he could just get back to his booth overlooking the bay.Ensign Ranlei. Engineering .
It was at this point accompanied by two more security NE’s Fleet Captain Drudoc entered the shuttlebay. Coming over to the nervous looking NE she stood at her full 6‘2 height. “..Alright someone want to tell me why I was not informed of a prisoner transfer to MY ship??” She said with annoyance, “..Especially given we are to be leaving for a year long exploration mission shortly?”

NE Sterling did not look happy. He looked like a man having a bad day. He wasn’t ambitious. He wasn’t remarkable. He was a timid man who did his job better than some but needed a quiet space to work in. The hanger bay was not proving to be quiet this morning. “Ma’am!” He barked a bit to loudly. He winced at this point as a warble, warble warbling, noise could faintly be heard coming from the dermal implant he had in his ear. He had it installed so he could get reports quietly without others being disturbed by mundane daily operations. That the present communication could be heard out loud if muffled meant someone must be scraeming into the com directly into Sterlings ear.
NE Sterling tapped just behind his ear and the warbling stopped. He looked at the Captain and CoS apologetically, “I put in a call to base sir. She came with no paperwork.
But it seemis she is the crewmember that didn’t check in for the flight. There was a brawl in a bar. Something about a Orion trying to drag her off. Klingons. A right mess. Our girl was out cold on the floor. Doc cleared her so they dumped her on the shuttle. Umm some lunkhead who is going to get a year of sensativity training after this assumed she was a dangerous criminal. Stuffed her in a EVA suit, and magnetic manicles and shipped her to us as a prisoner. Sir. All because she’s greener than granny smith apple.”, Sterling relayed the message as he recieved it without editing it. He looked both embarrassed and confused. And shrugged. “Should we let them unload sirs?”, he asked looking between the Captain and the CoS. “She’s been sealed in a eva suit for 3 days now. Air and water for a week with reclaimation on but I wouldn’t vouch for comfortable or fresh smelling.”, and he almost relaxed as he realised he wasn’t responcible anymore. It was the senior crews responsibility now.”..Oh for…I’m going to have a word with NCommander Baticks at starbase 243 for this…” She said looking non-too pleased.
NE Ensign Sterling. Hanger bay operations officer third shift.
Ensign Ranlei Engineer.“So your saying one of the new crew members is an Orion woman? I wouldn’t feel safe if she hasn’t had any pheremone inhibitor, captain, however as this is something that works on us males more effectively, I’d say you would have better luck from here. I’ll have your back if you need me, captain” Starr offered as he continued looking towards the shuttle, awaiting his orders.
Lieutenant (J.G) Simon Starr, CoS
”..Get a hypo from the field kit here in the bay, adjust its dosage for an inhibitor I will administrator the dose then through the suit. Once its in effect we’ll unload her..” She said.

Nobody had directly told Sterling anything. But he took the words between the Captain and the CoS as a go ahead. So he steped over to the Runaabout and undid the lockout that kept the hatches from opening. The personel hatch cycled open immediately. Sterling got out of the way them moving to stand nearby if needed but otherwise trying to be invisible.
The usual half a dozen crew replacements made their way out of the runabout a couple moving over to tap the runabouts nose art of a ardently devilish looking lady with a bent halo over her head’s scantily clad posterior in the traditional TY for a safe trip gesture of ancient aviators.
The Pilot then exited half carrying, half dragging a older model eva suit that had the handle built into the chest plate. They had quickly gone out of style once a few enemies had starting using the handle to manhandle those wearing the suit. But the handle looked useful at the moment. The pilot wasn’t overly gentle and bounced the suit off the doorframe a few times. He was a Nava Romaian as he wore the Scant style uniform that only Nova Romans prefered. Like most Nova Romaians his opinion of criminels was fairly low and it showed in his treatment of the to his knowledge prisoner. Once he had it out of his runabout he let go letting it drop to the deck. Ar this point he noticed his audiance. “I only have verbal orders. So you can send complants to to the security at the Starbase. I’m going to see to my ship now.” And seeing as he hadn’t set foot off his runabout he felt no need to wait on permission so he turned and reentered his little kingdom. If he had said your dismissed it wouldn’t of felt more like a dismissal.
3 days of being in a eva suit was far from Ranlei’s idea of being good. The sun shade polorized the visor so she couldn’t see much but shapes. The suits voice controls were locked out and her arms locked together behind her. They had locked out sound too. Blind and deaf. She tried to get up but could only flop around like a fish. The liquid nurishment kept her from actually starving but it didn’t fill a stomach. She had seen a angry green fist coming at her and woken up locked helpless in a eva suit. For 3 days she had paniced. She was being transported obviously. She had cried she had struggled she had worn herself out. She had no illusions. She was a green. Someone was collecting her for the slave market. She was feeling broken already. She’d make someone a fine slave she guessed. She stopped struggling. She had never met another Orion in her life and the day she did he had knocked her out and enslaved her. No wonder everyone assumed she was a bad seed. The blurrs outside moved towards her. Here it comes. She muttered to herself.
Ensign Ranlei Engineer. Desperately wanting a shower.
Simon ran over and picked up the inhibitor, arranging the hypospray as requested and walked over to the captain handing it over. “Let’s hope that they cooperate,” he said as the hypospray changed hands.
Lieutenant (J.G) Simon Starr, CoS
Drudoc approached speaking to the EVAed woman, “..Hold still then miss we’ll get you out of there in a moment. ” She said injecting the hypo through the suit to stifle the pheromones she might give off. She then removed the woman’s bounds and helmet.

With the binders removed Ranlei was able to lift off the floor onto her hands and knees but she was confused as to why her captors would unbind her just now before they had her in a cell. She of course couldn’t hear them with the sound locked out. In any case she was too weak to take advantage of the seeming mistake. The helmet seal released with a soft hiss and she gulped at air that wasn’t thick wìth three days of sweaty Orion and tired air scrubbers. She was staring at the white deck. Well that was also confusing. Duranium plating was of course used by many races but in general few would use white. The noise was near deafening after 3 days of silence, but she recognised them as typical for a docking bay. As her eyes adjusted to the light and she blinked away tears she looked up at whomever had taken the helmet off. Raising her bruised face
Up she saw a woman in Starfleet red. “Oh thank god.” She managed to wheeze before the sheer emotional relief caused her to faint.
