“Very well, Commander Vance. We’ll be there shortly.” She said to Commander Vance. “Commander Kelley and Commander Ezeami, along with Ensign Gibbs, to Transporter Room 1 for beam over. We don’t want to have them waiting.” She ordered.

Charlotte Kelley rose from her station without hesitation, collecting her PADD before making her way toward the turbolift.

“Aye, Captain.”

She glanced briefly toward Commander Ezeami and Ensign Gibbs, giving each a professional nod.

“It looks like we’re about to get our first look at what Commander Vance has been dealing with. Let’s stay sharp and keep our eyes open. If there’s anything unusual aboard the station, we’ll assess it quickly and coordinate with their staff.”

Her tone was calm and confident, the voice of an experienced executive officer who understood the importance of setting the example. Turning back to the captain, she added, “Away team is ready when you are, Captain.”

With that, Kelley fell into step just behind Captain T’Nara as they entered the turbolift, bound for Transporter Room One.

Gibbs heard his name called and shut down the screen he was working on at the Science station, transferring the data to his PADD.

“Right Away, Commander” Gibbs replied following the others into the turbolift down to Transporter Room 1.

The Chief Engineer smiled at Falz’s comment. The man was an engineer by trade himself and still liked to keep his hands busy. Izak figured he’d be very similar if he ever took a post in Operations on another ship.

It was actually nice to have somebody on the bridge with an engineering background. His department was tired of getting complaints like ‘The sensors don’t work right’ or ‘my console is acting funny’ from the bridge crew.

=/\=”Thanks, Lt Hegush… I’ll play nice with Science and Security as well. There’s more than enough sensor power to go around.” It was rare that engineering had a chance to utilize the sensors… the external ones at least. Their job was keeping the ship fully operational, and Lt Waryn decided that in this instance, it meant protecting it from whatever was going on in the anomaly.

The Chief Engineer’s fingers flew over the console’s buttons, trying to analyze any temporal markers and compare it to documented phenomenon.

OOC: Doing scans of the anomaly, primarily anything related to time dilation/time travel/ or other temporal mechanics. Only after that’s done will he compare it to the data the listening post sent over.

The turbolift doors opened as Cross entered the bridge. Now that he had compiled the psychological data for the Captain and sent it to her, he wished to be aboard the bridge to actually see the contact with the Pathfinder once things got that far. Now it was time for the Captain to do the diplomatic part with the listening post. Nodding to Waryn and Gibbs, Cross took his seat in the Counelor’s chair while they waited.
