Gibbs left the Counseling Suites on Deck 11 and moved down to Sickbay on Deck 12. As he entered the room he was taken back by the number of biobeds. He had only seen this many before aboard Starbase 47. But, with a ship the size of the Ark Angel, and the nature of her mission, it should not have surprised him.

Seeing a crewman in blue walking past he got their attention. “Excuse me. I just transferred aboard. Whom do I see for my medical check in?”

The blue uniformed medtech walked by Gibbs as if he was not seen or was not heard. Gibbs looked around Sickbay which looked to be quiet in his opinion. He though back to his meeting with Counselor Cross. This would be a good opportunity to get himself noticed. To step out of the shadows so to speak.

Gibbs spoke slightly louder and with more emphasis, “I have just transferred from Starbase 47 where they are fighting a case of Rigelian fever. Can I have someone check me out to ensure I am not a carrier?”

Spenn had been deep in thought and hadn’t immediately noticed the ensign. “Apologies, Ensign,” He said, “Sit down on the biobed so we may begin your examination.”
