He nodded at his officers. “Very well.” He said to the ones standing around. =/\= Very well Lieutenant make the right preparations and make sure the second shuttle can do its job like the first. Myself and Lieutenant Nala and the rest of us including Lieutenant Commander Storm and some junior officers will be here monitoring everything from the ship. Get to it right away. =/\=. Becket had replied back to the Chief Engineer. Before allowing everyone to do the main portion he then added to everyone and to the Chief Engineer =/\=”For those that are on the team, I want to have sensor scans of anything and everything around and in the ships sent directly to Lieutenant Nala for her reading of the scan. “=/\= He added.

Captain Alex Becket Commanding Officer U.S.S. Ark Angel

Riley went down to the shuttle bay to help and over see the multi layer protection system for the shuttles. He was helping that is cut time off of the retrofitting, but he needs to know exactly what type of radiation they need to be protective against.

ETOC = Estimated Time Of Completion: 45 minutes

Commander Riley O’Nell (XO)

OOC: So a suggestion for the CO you might want to update the MOTD to include the link to the Mythology class ship spec, since I would wager some folks dont know how to get to it Mythology Class Deep Space Explorer this way everyone knows what the ship looks like, how its equipped, what’s its mission profile is etc, and other stuff like the auxiliary ship equipment etc

Shuttlebay 2 on decks 29 and 30 were a flurry of prepping the two Armadillo class shuttles for launch and modifying them with the multilayer shielding that the XO and engineering teams had provided. Every minute counted in a rescue mission and a few NE’s were quietly questioning why they hadn’t just used the transporters to beam the away teams over in EVA suits, but orders were orders.

As the next 45 minutes passed the shuttles were both finally ready for launch. From the launch control bay in the upper bay area NE Marshall gave an update. =/\= Shuttle Vermin and Shuttle Rodent are modified and ready for launch for each team. Be careful out there, the radiation isnt as much a concern but even with the shielding we’re picking up energy spikes from damaged hunks of debris, they could arc or strike the shuttles if you’re not careful. Best as the science teams can tell you’ll have to pick from five largest chunks of the debris, we cant tell where the life signs are among those five nor can we no longer tell if its three or more or less then three. So its a crap shoot of picking two chunks and trying to track them down and rescue who we can I guess =/\= Marshall said.
