After her boarding physical and counseling evaluations were sorted out Mackenzie figured she would talk with the First officer of the Ark Angel. She wanted to see if they had anything specific for her to start readying for as far as Diplomacy was concerned. Plus she enjoyed getting to know more crew that she would be working with.

((OOC: Thank you for the bump. I had been meaning to respond but just got distracted and lost the thread.))

Yoshida looked up from his desk as his door chimed. His eyebrows furrowed as he had not expected another meeting that day. “Enter,” He said. When the door opened and he saw the new Diplomatic Officer (he had just read her personnel file a little while previously) his face brightened. “Ah, Officer Locke. Please, come in.” The XO’s voice was gravely and with a thick accent. While he was understandable, it often sounded like he was wrestling with the words as they left him.
