After her meeting with the Captain, Mykl headed for medical to get her boarding physical out of the way. She’d made sure her records were transferred to the Memorial because of the neurological disease (CIPD) that she suffered from. Currently, she wasn’t having any issues with her nerves, but you could never be too sure when it came to your health. Right? ‘Right.’ she answered herself silently.

It was the middle of the afternoon when Najjar walked through the doors into the pristine bay. It didn’t look too busy so she walked over to one of the staff. “Hi, I’m Lt Mykl Najjar, the new counselor. I need to be examined before I can get my clearance codes.” She looked around. “Is there someone available to see me?”

Hayley turned to face the Lt. and held out a hand in greeting, “Welcome to the Ark Angel Lt. Najjar, I’ve been expecting you.”

Mykl shook the offered hand. “Nice to meet you, Lt, and you are?” She could see the woman’s rank but had no idea of her name. “I don’t know if you’re aware, but I have a companion who travels with me–does he need to stop by for a physical too?” Not all of her assignments had required it, but some had. It seemed to be up to the CMO in charge.

“Apologies, I probably should have led with that, I’m Lt. Hayley Marshall, Chief Medical Officer. If your companion’s medical records are up to date he will only need to report for a medical when he is due for routine assessment.” She gestured toward the nearest vacant Biobed. “If you will step this way?”
