T’Mor entered and quickly spotted Solkar, who appeared to be lounging next to none other than the Executive Officer and a few others. She let out a small sigh before approaching, hoping he hadn’t done or said anything too odd.

“Commander,” she said, approaching the table. She stood up properly straight with her hands clasped behind her.

“I was not expecting to meet you here. And greetings to the rest of you as well.”

“Greetings, Doctor.” T’Shura said as the CMO approached the table.”Please, join us.” She offered as she picked up her mug and sipped her tea.

“Thank you Commander,” Hayley replied. She placed her tray on the table and took a seat. She nodded to the others at the table in greeting.

“Hello Doctor. It is most pleasant to see you again.” Alex said with a smile.

“How are you Doctor?” Alex asked as she allowed her to sit.

“I am well Lt,” Hayley replied, “And very glad to be back on the Ark Angel. Spending time at Starfleet Medical is always an experience, but I prefer being aboard ship. And yourself?”

“I am well. Just been here keeping busy as usual.” He said looking at her with a smile.

“Did you return to Starfleet Medical for training, Doctor?”

Ciaran walked into the Mess Hall after the end of a shift. He noticed a busy mess hall. He was curious of what all was going on but he liked to observe and not bother folks outside of work. He knew folks could do what they wanted and wanted to leave it at that. He walked up to the bar and took a seat. He wanted something to drink but he wanted to see if anyone would approach him to have a discussion. He enjoyed talking but he wanted his crew to be relaxed to speak with him outside of being on duty. He continued to monitor the room and just passively listen.

Alex looked around and saw the captain. He looked at the others. “I’ll be right back.” He said to the others. Alex stood up and walked over to the captain. “Hello captain. Would you like to join us on over there?” He asked the captain.

Ciaran looked up and saw his chief engineer Alex and responded, “Thank you Alex, I will be happy to join you all. I did not want to bother you all or anything.” Ciaran grabbed his drink and stood up. He waited for Alex to lead the way so he could go over and speak with everyone.

Alex shows the captain the way. “Captain. It wouldn’t have been a bother. I know as a captain you didn’t want to be interfere. But it’s okay. We’re one happy family. So it’s okay to interrupt on occasion.” Alex said to Ciaran.

Maq saw the watched as the Captain sat down. He took another swig of his prune juice and stood and said, “Sir, I am Ensign Maqmlgh one of the new engineers under Lieutenant Becket.” Maq’s demeanor was that of a proud warrior from a distinct lineage.

Hayley gave a nod of acknowledgement to the Captain before responding to T’Shura’s question. “I did, yes. I felt I needed to broaden my skill set so I returned to Earth to complete a fellowship in Internal Medicine. It seems the only thing I enjoy more than being in space is studying. Do you have any special interests you like to pursue?”

After following the Lt to the table, he was greeted by the new Klingon engineer. He had not had a chance to meet Magmlgh yet so this would be nice. Ciaran was aware of the traditions of the Klingons on not shacking hands so Ciaran did not reach out to shake his hand. Instead, he did the traditional new meeting for a Klingon by doing the traditional Klingon saluting which involves slapping your right hand on your left shoulder and forming a fist. Ciaran wanted to seem more engaged in traditions of his crew and hopefully it would make them be more relaxed. After doing the Klingon salute, he then said, “Welcome to the Ark Angel. I hope you are fitting in and getting your barrings straight with everything both from an engineering standpoint and living on the Ark Angel. Feel free to ask me anything anytime, I want to be approachable, especially when not on duty.” He then nodded at the CMO and the CE after speaking to Magmlgh.
