Maq replied “Aye,” and moved towards the table with Prune Juice in hand.

“How are you doing Ensign? How are those tasks going?” Alex asked. “To be honest being the Chief of engineering is such a busy job. But I know with you and one other at my side it helps. And MaQmlgh. Thank you for being there for me when I need the extra hand.” Alex then thanked MaQmlgh.

T’Shura entered the lounge before her shift so she could get something to eat. She had not had a chance as of yet to eat in the lounge and mingle with the crew.
She knew that as Executive Officer it was considered one of her duties to be aware of the tenor of the crew as she was the liaison between them and the Captain.

While she was not particularly social in the human sense she was observant from her years as a science officer. She still had a great fascination with the universe and the races that inhabited it. She would most likely never lose that.

She noted the group of officers and the Vulcan Civilian chatting together and was gratified to see that crew was mixing so well, as she walked over to the replicator and ordered her meal with a cup of Vulcan tea. She picked up her tray and moved over to an available seat near the group.
“May I join you?” She asked politely to open things up. Vulcans were naturally a polite race that gave consideration to each being’s personal space in the universe. To decrease the effects of entropy. The Vulcan philosophy of entropy was that each being contributed to it so great consideration must be given to each other to lessen the effects.

Alex looked up and noticed commander T’Shura was there. He smiled and nodded. “Please pull up a chair and have a seat commander. I know not all of us has had the chance to even say hello to you since we’ve all been busy commander. And let alone, the fact that we’ve been extremely busy lately also doesn’t help. But anyways I’m Lieutenant Alex Becket Chief engineer.” He introduced himself to to the commander only because they have only met at meetings and not off shift.

“Indeed, Lieutenant. I have been remiss myself due to my familiarizing myself with my duties.” T’Pris said as she nodded and slid into her seat and set her tray down on the table.
“How are you finding your duties on board the Ark Angel, Lieutenant? Is there anything I can do or provide you for Engineering?”

“Well commander. To be honest. Engineering has been slow. I’ve loved being here on the Ark Angel. She’s a good ship with a good set of engines and a good warp core. Honestly, if you have any ideas to get my staff up in numbers would be great. It’s just myself and two junior officers on board is all I have. But other than that. My engineering team that I do have, is great. One of them is actually here. MaQmlgh is my second engineering officer. My first engineering officer is completely in the unknown honestly.” He started to explain it to the commander.

“MaQmigh is a good engineer so he should be an asset for you.” T’Shura commented before Solkar’s pocket began to vibrate.

A faint buzzing noise came from one of the pockets on Solkar’s shirt. He pulled the device out of his pocket, a civilian communicator. He held it at a low angle to read it from under his bangs.

“My wife is wondering where I am. Perhaps she may join us as well. If there is no objection.”

He glanced over at the T’Shura,

“She may have mentioned not finding an opportunity to properly introduce herself to you, Commander.”

“I have no objections either. I have not had time to go down to sickbay either.” T’Shura said.

T’Mor entered and quickly spotted Solkar, who appeared to be lounging next to none other than the Executive Officer and a few others. She let out a small sigh before approaching, hoping he hadn’t done or said anything too odd.

“Commander,” she said, approaching the table. She stood up properly straight with her hands clasped behind her.

“I was not expecting to meet you here. And greetings to the rest of you as well.”

“Greetings, Doctor.” T’Shura said as the CMO approached the table.”Please, join us.” She offered as she picked up her mug and sipped her tea.
