As the Captain made his way back to the Ark Angel bridge some information came up on his datapad. The last sighting of SS Kringle had been seen Northwest of SB 243 just outside the First Federation border, approximately 10 lightyears away. (https://www.star-fleet.com/gmd/map/draftchart2.png) So not far. It would only take a few hours to get there. As the Admiral had told the Captain, the Kringle was a First Federation freighter so they did not have the specs on her but she was supposedly similar in design to Earth Freighters. https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Freighter. As it had been lost in 2101 that was just over 300 years ago. Any other details about the freighter’s mission, logs, or flight plans was non existent. All that was known was that it had a First Federation registry number.

Commander T’Shura sat in the command chair on the bridge and as the Captain exited the turbolift she stood up. “Captain on the bridge! Welcome back, Captain. You look perplexed, has the Admiral given us a confusing mission?” She asked curiously as she stepped aside to allow him to take his seat if he wished.

T’Mor responded to the executive officer’s announcement. Only to resume work at her station when it was appropriate to do so. Starbase had made adjustments to the scanner arrays, ‘fixing’ some issues that she was used to compensating for.

Ciaran walked onto the bridge and heard what T’Shura said and laughed in his mind. He did not think perplexed was his mood but thought it was interesting this is how the Vulcan viewed him as. “Thank you Commander. We have a new mission and I’m going to need all the senior staff in my ready room in the next hour. Can you please communicate this with the senior staff, Commander?” He then continued into his ready room and began gathering the data he needed for the mission briefing with this senior staff.

Ciaran believed he has put together as much data as he could for the upcoming mission. He then waited for everyone to show up. He was excited about this mission. It was different then the normal ones the Ark Angel were in while he was the executive officer so this would be interesting for his 2nd mission as her captain. He had the data he needed on the screen behind him and he his padd ready to explain everything he wanted to talk towards for the senior staff.
