Several of the youngest children leaned forward closer coming within a foot or two of T’Mor to peer more closely at the jewelry as it sparkled a bit in the large rooms light. “..Ohhhh pretty!” came a few comments by the children. One girl of 4 years of age a human pointed to one of them, “..This one is like my Mommy’s band on her hand!” she said, another boy looking at something else commented, “..This one is reminds me of my grandmom! She had this sparkly white rock on her dresser that lit up when the Sun hit it every morning.” He looked up at T’Mor, “..does yours do that?” he asked, the rest of the children innocently looking up eagerly to hear her answer.

T’Mor looked down at the jewelry for a moment, seriously considering the child’s inquiry.
“Perhaps it would, I have never thought to observe it in such conditions.”
Cerenity simply smiled.” I think its pritty” The little girl said. Luna watched quietly here gaze drifting back to the new XO from time to time.

“This style of dress was designed with a focus on being atheistically pleasing, yes,” T’Mor said, responding to the crowd in general rather than one specific comment. Whatever embarrassment might have been bubbling up went away as she focused on the goal of educating the children,
“The original designer was aware of the … ‘sparkly’ quality of the materials used. Notice the way the skirt too also refracts light, emphasizing the wearers motion with both audio and visual interest.”
She demonstrated this with a small twirl, which picked up the beaded skirt slightly from the ground, causing small specks of light to be tossed across the platform. When coming to a stop, the beads clacked against each other, like raindrops on a roof. Of course the demonstration was done with the dignity and grace befitting a historical recreation. Not one bit of levity or enjoyment was found in T’Mor’s expression.

A few of the more enthralled children went ‘oooo’ and ‘ahhhh’ at the attention grabbing nature of the dress. Once they had calmed down the teacher looked to Drudoc, “..Well unless you have anything further to enlighten the children on about this period of time and the dresses use. I think we can move on to let them judge?” she asked.
Once any final education was done, Drudoc nodded letting the children huddle up and for a few minutes quietly murmured and arguing amongst themselves. While they did this Drudoc spoke, “..While the children here are debating the winner of this celebration of education will of course receive a prize made by these same children.” she said.
One of the teachers then spoke after the children giddily broke up their huddle fidgeting to reveal their choice, “..The children have decided, Commodore.” she said, gesturing then for one of the children to step forward with a paper envelope in the boys hand. He looked between the two shyly but then seemed to gather his courage, “..We chose Miss T’Mor!” he said extending his hands up to her with the envelope. Cheers from the children and claps from various people came up then faded after a few minutes. Once T’Mor would open the envelope she found it was a flexible plexi-glass painting where each child had it seemed made a simple shape, and then taken turns making random lines connecting each. The glitter bound words then of ‘Kongradulashuns’ was misspelled across it. The beaming children looked up to her for her approval or comment, “..Um…what you think miss T’Mor?” the speaker boy asked.
