Ciaran had been waiting on Starbase 243 for some time for the Ark Angel to arrive. He had heard they were finishing up a mission and was going to dock at Starbase 243 after the mission. Ciaran had been at the Starbase for a few days as he arrived early from his leave. He was excited about his next adventure and was looking forward to his first post as an XO on a ship. He enjoyed working in engineering but was ready to move forward being an XO. He had been through command training so he knew what he might expect but nothing was better than on the job training. After the news of the Ark Angle arriving had come over the news on the Starbase, Ciaran knew it was time to make his way to his new post. He grabbed what little belongings he had, he never kept much being an engineer, and headed towards the docking location of the Ark Angel. After a number of minutes, he arrived at the docking ring. There was a security ensign waiting at the ring and when Ciaran saw this officer, he said, “Lieutenant Commander Ciaran Donoghuei, I am the new XO and would like to board the ship.” He waited to be given permission to board the vessel before just waltzing right on on. He also was testing the young ensign, in case he was a security officer of the AA and he wanted to know how they handled folks coming onto the ship.

Before the NE could answer, a strong toned feminine voice spoke from a bit ways back on the gangplank. “..Permission granted, Lieutenant Commander Donoghuei..” it said, looking that way he could see a 6‘1/6‘2 or so Romulan woman with raven black hair cropped short to her ears. She had a strong physical build of someone who regularly worked out, but also someone who had an intelligent mind as well. She wore the command red colored uniform and held the rank of Commodore.

Coming up and taking the PADD from the NE and dismissing him to attend to others waiting now, she extended a hand after signing off on it. “..Commodore Drudoc Andone, USS Ark Angel..” She said introducing herself.

Ciaran then reached out with his hand and shock the Commodores hand. He then responded, “I guess you heard I am your new Executive Officer. I look forward to working with you and having a say in the overall wellness of the ship instead of just that of Engineering.” Ciaran then waved the Commodore to enter the ship from the airlock and he would follow as soon as she walked in. Not only was it the Commodore was a woman, but she was also his commanding officer so he wanted to let her go first.
