Em had dumped her bags in her quarters and was now heading to Sickbay. Her symbiote had previously been joined with a physician. Em tried very hard to keep her mouth shut at times. She stepped through the doors of Sickbay and spoke to the nurse “I’m here for my boarding physical.” She said handing over one of thevPaDDs She carried with her for this visit.

The Nurse walked over to where Dr. Buckingham was working and gently tapped his Shoulder and gestured to Ensign Bradford before handing the PADD to him. Buckingham immediately stopped what he was doing and walked over to her.
“I’m sorry, I hope I haven’t kept you waiting for long?” He said politely. “I’m Thomas Buckingham, one of the Doctor’s here on the Ark Angel I assume you’re here for your boarding physical? If you’d like to step this way…” Buckingham lead the Ensign to a near by empty Bio Bed. He patted the surface of it. “Please take a seat.”
He took a moment to study the information on the PADD before continuing.
“Before we begin, is there anything that isn’t stated on your Medical Records that I should know about?”

“I didn’t have to wait long at all.” She said a bright smile on her face. “Yes I’m here for my boarding physical and unless something happened in the last 24 hours that I don’t remember, everything should be in there.” She said jokingly as she hopped onto the bio bed and waited for it to calibrate to her reading. Her symbiote was being quite talkative this morning and was commenting on everything that was going on in Sickbay.

Buckingham smiled as she joked. He stood a moment and further studied the notes on the PADD and monitored the Biobed’s readings.
“Is this your first posting out of the Academy, Ensign?” He asked as he continued to monitor.

“Technically no, my first assignment was at the Academy as an ass’t instructor in quantum physics and applications.” She said “They wanted to make sure that I would do okay with the structure. That has been an issue in the past.” She admitted.

“Ah I see” Buckingham affirmed as he listened closely. “Sounds rewarding, though!” He said enthusiastically. “I did a brief stint as the CMO aboard an academy ship myself.” The pride was evident in his tone of voice.
He fell silent for a few moments as he tapped some information into a PADD before returning his attention to the Ensign.
“Well, unless there is anything else you wish to discuss, Ensign Bradford; I’m happy to declare you A1 and fit for duty!” He smiled

“Thank you sir. I appreciate it.”. She said as she hopped off the bed and headed out the door.
