Emily stopped in front of the Captain’s ready room and rang the chime and waited for the call to enter.

Emily stepped into the office and came to attention “Ensign Emily Bradford reporting for duty.” She said handing over the last of the data padds she had with her for her transfer.

Drudoc took the PADD from Bradford as she entered. “..At ease Ensign.” She said in a professional manner. Signing off on the transfer orders and handing it back, “..Good to have more engineers aboard the Angel. Seems Command never seems fit to keep us properly staffed..” She said with a hint of amusement. Then gestured for her to take a seat in front of the ready room desk, “..Please take a seat and be at ease. Tell me do you have any engineering specialty?” She inquired.

Emily took a seat “My expertise is rather complicated.” She said “My primary focus has been on quantum physics, however, during the academy, I found a penchant for computers.” She said “And finding ways to circumvent security measures without being detected.” She said “I am pretty good at it now as long as i have time to study the system for a few minutes and see how it reacts to certain things.”
