“Good afternoon, I am Lt. Cmdr. Solomon Kane, the executive officer of the USS Ark Angel. This here is NE Mathis, and NE Lola.” Kane pauses a moment to gesture to either side of him to each officer. “I am sure that you are all very confused as to why you are here. We apologize for the sudden upheaval, however we did not want anyone to get unnecessarily harmed.” He explained and took a breath. “I know you may have been brought against your will for that we do apologize again. But you are not being held here against your will. There were some cybernetically enhanced wolves that attacked some of my crew. We were afraid that when we transported the crew back to this ship that they would then turn on you, the people nearby. So you were brought up onto the ship for your protection. Please be patient with us, once the danger is over. Lola and Mathis are here to make your stay on thr Ark Angel as comfortable as possible. Lola is also a medical officer so she can treat any injuries that anyone may already have.” He explained as he looked around, moving from face to face of the colonists.

One of the older men in blue jeans and a dirtied grey t-shirt stepped up, “..Farmer Miles, Commander. I see, that would explain the sudden beam out then. We were in the process of mending our fence line with your two security ensigns nearby in the tree line. Are they safe? And what of bovine herd nearby?” he asked.

“I believe they have also been brought back on board and I will be briefing with them shortly. We grabbed everyone in the immediate vicinity to my knowledge. Right now we are going to find the best way to neutralized the threat. As for the nearby heard they are still there. We are going to work to get rid of the wolves quickly.” He explained as the two NLts worked their way around the room checking on each person individually.

Relief seemed more evident once the crowd was told what was going on and that their herds were safe and sound. “..Well thats good.” Farmer Miles said.

As the two NLt’s came back around to Kane they reported in, “..No signs of any problems Commander. Everyone seems settled and fine, we’re going to have a medical team come in just to run some scans quick on the Captain’s orders to ensure no other problems, but once clear they’ll be sent to guest quarters.” they reported.

Kane nodded to the NLt’s and his expression softened just a little. “Good. Very well. I agree with the Commodore.” He then turned back to the farmer.

”..Thank you for your concern, Commander. I’ll help your two lieutenants here finish up. I am sure you need to check in with your commanding officer..” Miles said.

“Yes, she is expecting me to join their briefing that is being held at this moment. I am glad everyone is good right now. If you would cooperate with the medical team to get everyone checked out, then there will be more comfortable accommodations that we will make after.” He offered his hand to shake Miles’s hand.

Once done he dropped his hand and then headed out of the transporter room and headded to the turbolift.
