Shore stepped into the medical bay looking to get this over with, he was never a fan of being poked and prodded “Don’t they have a file of this somewhere anyway…” he said to himself.

Wandering in the lights were dim and the whole area was empty, the smell of sterilised equipment hung in the air and sent a shudder down his spine.

“Hello..” he said, hoping someone was hiding behind a corner.

Kalitta stood up from her desk. =/\= Computer increase lighting to full. =/\= She then made her way to the new ensign before her. “Yes… What is it?” She asked noting that there didn’t appear to be anything physically wrong with the man.

Kalitta was 6‘2” and her size tended to intimidate most people. Especially when she smiled and showed off her sharpened teeth.

Shore noticed the Lt. Cmdr seemed somewhat frustrated with him having the tone of voice thrown at him.

“Ensign Shore reporting for initial medical.” he said to the women

Shore has noticed how rigid and pronounced her teeth were “Someone not to get on the wrong side of, or be here at all with!” he mused to himself.

Yet another snivelling ensign She thought to her self. “Sit down on the bio bed next to you.” She said.

Once the ensign was sitting down on the bio bed she pulled out her tircorder and began running her scan. “Well ensign…What was your name again? Do you have any prominent illnesses that I am to be made aware of?”

Shore followed the order to sit without hesitation… “She seems stressed” he thought to himself, “I wonder why, it doesn’t seem that busy today!”

“Ensign Shore Lt.” he said sheepishly “And clean as a whistle, never felt so good in-fact, can I go now?” he said in a rush, hoping the Lt. diddn’t pick up on his haste to get out of there!

Kalitta did notice the fact that the ensign was rushing to get out. That was nothing new, most people wanted to get their physical done and over with as soon as they can.

“Well my tricorder says that you are fit as a fiddle, as you humans call it. However I would like to see you excersize and work on your cardio more. It’s always good to keep yourself in shape.”

“Other wise you are cleared for duty Ensign, Welcome onboard the Ark Angel”
