USS Ark Angel
Main Sim - Bridge - En route to J17
[snip]
“I’m on it lass!” Kyle called out. Typing with all the speed he could muster, the CoS sent a message to both the Volograd and the ship representing the Forseth explaining the damage the Ark Angel had taken, suggesting as best he could that the ships try not to adjust course in any way, as that could make the situation a lot worse for all three ships, “Signal’s away!”
-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-
With the message away the Volgograd soon replied, now on the run again on impulse having been forced out of the cometary cloud it was in. =/\= Understood Ark Angel! Guess we’re back to playing duck and doge… =/\= Said a male NE on said ship. On the screen the Volgograd fired phasers again but to only minimal effect on the ducking and weaving space snake.
A second or more later the Forseth ships which were still holding station just at the system edge and were not currently engaging said giant snake nor in any danger at the moment simply replied with an audio only reply, =/\= Ok Ark Angel, we will keep holding station where we are out of danger I guess? Unless the creature becomes hostile to us or our home planet. =/\= The confused sounding voice said observing the continuing fight.
She nodded at Anders, signal was sent, the Volograd and Forseth ship were on their own now until they could remedy their own situation.
As Kyle finished his report, Marlaa’s comm chirped in response to her previous question. =/\=”Ensign Lis here,” Demil said. “We’ve reached worst case scenario. We’re evacuating sections 19 through 33 on decks 11 to 13, then we have to vent all of the air in order to contain the fire.”=/\= A moment later, there was a crash, and the comm line cut.
Ensign Lis, Science/Fire Team
=^=Proceed with evacuations, be sure everyone gets to safety, including yourselves. Report back status and give update on damage after affected decks have been vacuumed.=^=
Itri, XO
=^=Bridge be advised all casualties need to be routed to Deck 39 sickbay, there they will be triaged. The Port cargo bay on deck 45 will be utilized as a routine and minor injury station, the Starboard cargo bay on deck 45 will be a recovery unit for the seriously injured. Please advise all decks of this, and to be aware that the hallway outside Deck 39 sickbay will be used as a triage site. Ensign Baptiste out.=^=
=^=Acknowledged, Ensign Baptiste. Good job.=^=
Kaden heard the communication about the evacuations and needed to know when everything was clear so he could vacuum everything out on deck 12 to save the ship from going up in flames. He hit his communicator =/\=Ensign Buchanan to Deck 12 fire team, please alert when the situation is fully cleared so I can do the needful to vent out the fire=/\=. Kaden then began getting the system ready to start the vacuum when he received the all clear from the fire suppression team. He waited very anxiously to do the needful. It always made Kaden nervous having to do this. He was always afraid he was going to kill someone having to do this. He just kept himself calm and was ready to perform the task.

Mar exhaled a breath of relief that someone was on the fires. The fact they were exhausting wasn’t a great thing. But the venting was necessary to save the ship. She was about to respond when the cash and subsequent silence hit her ears. Her hand slammed into the comm on the console. =^=Ensign Lis! Respond!=^=
Mar counted to five and tapped her own comm badge =^=Bridge to Lis… Respond!=^=
The Counselor turned to the XO. “Permission to check fire team. We need to get those areas vented or we’ll lose too much of the ship.” She was oddly calm. But it’s what she did.
Later she’d worry about panic.

Sifeda was hesitant, she didn’t want Marlaa getting injured in the fire and she did need her on the bridge. However with no response coming with Ensign Lis he reluctantly nodded her head because she knew Marlaa would have a better chance of managing the fire team if she were on site where they were than from the bridge. “Be careful, report back as soon as you are able to.”
Itri, XO
Right as Marlaa received permission and started to move for the lift, the lift doors opened and the aforementioned ensign stepped out, uniform sleeve singed and missing his combadge. “We have evacuated deck 13 and are nearly finished on 11. Deck 12 is evacuated except for sickbay. Lt. Azon and Lt. Stacey are still on the deck, but I was at increasing risk of becoming trapped in the lab as debris fell,” he reported.

Kyle watched for a moment as the Counsellor left the Bridge and just before the bridge turbolift doors closed, he called, “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t lass!”
-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-
Marlaa moved to the lift as Kyle’s banter reached her ears. When the lift opened and Lis was there an she exhaled a breath she didn’t realize was caught in her chest.
Helping the Ensign to a nearby chair, she shook her head. “No, it was good you got out. Catch your breath, I’m gonna go make sure the deck is clear so we can vent it.” Telling a nearby NE to see that Lis got some water, she moved away.
Before the XO, or Kyle, could change their minds about her leaving, she moved to the lift and tried to head to Deck 12 to help make sure it was clear so they could vent and save the ship.
