After meeting with the consular luna stopped by her quarters to check in on her daughter. The child was happy playing. Luna smiled and headed to meet with the COS. It took her some time to find the office. The ArkAngel was a big beautiful ship.

Eventually, she found herself outside the Chef’s Security officer’s office. She took a moment to strategy her uniform hair and the feathers on her wigs befor riding the chime. She turned suddenly at an unexpected sound. For the briefest of moments, she was not on the ArkAngel.

She recognizes the pure white hallways as the lab she had grown up in. She shit her he’s taking several deep breaths. It was not real. She know this was not real. She turned back to the door of the COS’s office and opened her eyes. ” Thank goodness,” She thought as the corridor of the ark angel reappeared in front of her.

Ensign Luna

The doors parted in front of Luna, revealing to her the Arkangel’s Security Chief, Lieutenant Kyle Anders. Kyle had only been given clearance to read through Luna’s file a day or so before, so only knew of some of the hardships she had faced while under scrutiny from Section 31. Seeing the smallest remnant of distress on her face, Kyle asked, “Ensign, are you alright? You look like you’ve seen a ghost?”

Luna studied the man for a moment before his question caught her attention.” I’m fine” she said automatically. She was momentarily thrown off. ” I’m very sorry it’s been a long day. I’m Ensign Luna im here to report for duty” She said. She desperately hoped he would drop whatever had clued him in that something was not right.
Ensign Luna

Something for later I think, Kyle thought to himself, “At ease before you break something,” he said with a grin, “Come in, take a seat, can I get you anything?”

Luna smiled and took a set. ” No thank you,” she said. She looked around the room and then back at Kyle. ” how do you like being posted on the Ark Angel” Luna asked.
Ensign Luna

Kyle smiled, “And here I thought I’d be asking the questions,” the young Chief took a fond look around his office, “She’s a great ship, hell of a crew to go with her. What about you Luna, why the Arkangel and not any other cruiser?”

” Like so many of the stations I have been sent to I did not get a choice. I’m just thankful that this one is child friendly. I have a five-year-old daughter ” Luna said.

Anders arched an eyebrow, “Really? I think I read that on your file, how is she settling in so far?”

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

” She is excited to go to school we have only been onboard a day. She seems to have taken the move well or better than when we transferred from the Viking. Her father Ensign Loki went missing on the Viking. He is believed to be dead but she is convinced he is alive. So when we moved from the Viking it was quite the event. ” Luna said choosing her words carefully. She thought for a moment.

” But for now she enjoyed meeting the captain and her daughter and should be playing in our Quarters hopfuly not running around the ship getting into trouble” Luna said.

” Do you have family onboard sir” She asked.
Ensign Luna

Anders chuckled, “I don’t know whether to be flattered or insulted that you think I look old enough to have family on board Ensign. I’m afraid I have been a lone wolf since my days at the Academy.”

She smiled ” I can understand that. I did not want children the loki came along and oups” Luna said with a smile. She had reasons for not wanting a family and children. However she would not traid cerenity for anything.
Ensign Luna

“You must bring Loki to meet me soon,” Kyle said with a grin, “I like to think though I don’t have a little one of my own yet, I still have a knack with kids.”

” I must not have been clear Loki was cerenity father he is MIA. Cerenity is my daughter. I would not mind her meeting you. ” Luna said
Ensign Luna

“Ahh, sorry lass, it’s been a long day! So, tell me, why the Security division? With the experience you have, I’m surprised you wouldn’t have gone straight for command?”

” star fleet did not want me in the first place.” She said giggling at the thought of her going for commandd.
” As for why I pick security I want to protect people no one should suffer the way I did,” Luna said.
Ensign Luna

Kyle arched an eyebrow, “Forgive me for trying to steal the counselor’s job Ensign, but when you say Starfleet didn’t want you?”

” I am a genetic experiment made by section 31. Star fleet has rules against genetically enhanced individuals.” Luna said. Shaking her head.
