Opening the access hatch below her feet there was a split second in hindsight of her brain recollecting some kind of ‘squelch’ sound before the panel burst out of her grip!

Falling onto her butt, she found the panel had been knocked aside, and with surprising lightening speed two.....small 2 inch or so sized globs of what could only be described as green jello shot out of the hatch. One took off ahead of her down the T shaped junction, and with a sicking ‘slurch’ sound slid in between the cracks of the turbolift doors and out of sight. The other shot off down the corridor to her left to the port side of this deck vanishing from her sight around the corner which lead to the jo/non-com crew quarters on this deck.

Thankfully beyond a pair of slightly bruised butt cheeks she was fine.

“Gazooks!” V’alura exclaimed as the hatch burst from her hands and knocked her back. The surprises didn’t end there, as two little green blobs took off like spooked horses out the hatch. “Darn it all!” She scrambled to feet, hopped over the open hatch then gave chase once again. At the junction she hesitated before going left after the little slime that went around the corner. That one seemed to be her best chance of capture. Her tricorder was clutched tight in her right hand, ready to reference for the slime’s location should she lose visual track of it.

OOC: Sorry for the delay I just had a heck of a past few days in life/work!

Valaura’s pursuit of the blob to the crew quarters was a frustrating one, the blob moved quite fast, not quite out of her sight all the time but enough so that she kept getting slowed a bit by looking, then glancing at her tricorder which itself was not perfect in tracking the blob as she realized it was not quite in ‘phase’ with the physical world. This might account for how it could move so fast in fact, as it was essentially phasing from in and out of their reality giving the appearance of just fast movement from their perspective and also making it quite difficult to get reliable sensor readings on the blob.

She came around another corner just in time to see the blob slip with a ‘squelch’ sound under a non-com’s door.
