Taking the most direct route, Doctor Stacey found himself in a turbolift about to step onto the Bridge in under two minutes. “Ma’am, I’ve found something you may want to take a look at,” Gavin stated as he rounded the command chairs. The young doctor stopped momentarily to acknowledge the CO, then continued with PaDD in hand. “I was going over the scans that Doctor DeSai had received from Starfleet Medical, which of course led to nothing out of the ordinary, but then the computer alerted me to some form of organic anomaly in the Syth’s computer core.” The Doctor paused to extend the PaDD to the CO, but continued speaking.

“Now I’m not surprised that DeSai or anyone else didn’t find this sooner, because it only appeared very briefly,” Gavin stated, “So I re ran the scan and the anomaly still shows up on scans, so I alerted Lieutenants Miz’uki and Belmont of my findings.”

Drudoc looked over the PADD presented to her, up till now the past two hours sitting here had been to put bluntly quite boring for her. She itched to get some kind of action or in some way get her hands dirty. After a moment of quiet though she returned the PADD to Stacey. “..Curious something organic like that would not normally fit within the time period of a ship like the Synthesis. Have there been any other anomalies picked up?” she asked.

Gavin shook his head in reply. “Not that I know of, Ma’am.” The Doctor stated. Ensign Stacey hadn’t received any updates from the medical side of the mission, and he only knew that the away team was still going over the Synthesis’s systems still. “It was only a matter of time before the away team would have found these scans too, if their search was in-depth, though if they end up finding it in any other system we could be looking at some level of intelligence.” Gavin wasn’t a systems analyst or else he’d be more helpful in that area. “And if that’s the case, we might want to worry about it jumping to the Ark Angel as well.”
