Jordy is in his quarters unpacking he grabs the small model of the challenger he got as a birthday present from his old crew and puts it on his desk. He is done with unpacking and makes his way to the office of his DH. Jordy is in front of the office and presses the ring button.

Ensign Jordy Kleine - Security

OOC: Hey there Jordy! Welcome to the ArkAngel, just a couple tips and tricks for getting your first couple of posts on this ship on the right track.

• First of all: Try to aoid writing in first or second person. I find it helps to think of it as writing a SStar Trek novel as a one big team! Take a look at my IC post in a second to help you out! Or if you want, I can always reset the thread to gie you another crack if you want!

Lieutenant Kyle Anders sat at the desk in his office, leaning back for a second and glancing over at the small pile of PADDs on his right hand side. The small amount of Security staff on the ArkAngel’s roster was starting to prove to be more of a difficulty than Kyle would have liked to admit. Scanning the newest PADD at the top of the pile, Kyle grinned, “Another eager beaver,” he said allowed, before the door chime to his office sounded, “Come in.” At the sight of Ensign Kleine, the Security chief smiled warmly, “Jordy I presume, feel free to take a seat or grab yourself something from the replicator.”

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

‘Ensign Jordy Kleine reporting for duty.’ Jordy takes a seat ‘Im here for my check in sir.’

Ensign Jordy Kleine Security

Kyle could see that the young Ensign seemed nervous. Having not long taken on the position of Security Chief of ArkAngel for a couple of months now, he was still trying to get over his own ‘new ship jitters.’ Taking the PADD containing Kleine’s file, “So you were only on the Challenger for a year, you must really have a flair for Security?” There was a smile in Anders’ voice, but he was also keen to get to the bottom of the young Dutchman’s motivations.

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

‘Yeah the fourth year of my acadeny time, not much happend we only had a virus on the ship once what made people fight each other.’ Jordy likes being promoted but he misses his old ship and crew especialy when he thinks about what he did there. ‘Lieutenant you were the chief of security of the challenger right, before Lieutenant Rodier.’

Kyle chuckled fondly, “I see I’m not the only one who did my homework, is Henry still serving as Chief?”

‘I think he still is,i came aboard the challenger around 2 months after you left, you picked the right man to replace you.’

OOC: Really sorry my friend! Time has been getting away from me lately!

Kyle grinned, “I always knew he’d do great things,” then; looking up at Jordy with an arched eyebrow and an almost childlike grin added, “Is that a position you’d like to take up at some point, Ensign? Chief of Security?”

‘Yes i would like to be chief of security someday,but my goal is to be captain someday.’

Kyle smiled whistfully, “You’re an officer after my own heart lad. How much Security training did you manage to get in while on the Challenger, I want it to seem as if you never stopped.” He winked.

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

‘I had a holodeck training with Rodier, a holodeck program with a friend where i was captain and he first officer and i was captured by romulans and the problem aboard the ship.’

Ensign Jordy Kleine Security

Kyle smiled, “I see Henry picked up my paunchant for holodeck training programs; if you feel up to it, we’ll get you going on something a little harder.” At what appeared to be the slightest look of panic on Kleine’s face, Kyle chuckled, adding quickly, “Don’t worry lad, I won’t drop you in at the deep end!”

‘Alright. What do you got in mind.’

Ensign Jordy Kleine Security

Kyle smiled, “Just report to Holodeck Two after the rest of your check-ins, and we’ll see what you can do.” Anders rose, extending a hand, “Welcome to the Arkangel, Mr. Kleine.”

-Lieutenant Kyle Anders: Chief of Security-

Jordy shakes the hand of his DH. ‘Alright have a nice day sir.’ Jordy walks out of the room.
