It was a hour or so after Drudoc’s announcement when the Ark Angel slid into her home port of Starbase 243, the ship was scarred and burned inside and out but she was intact and had arrived under her own power. Injuries among the crew were heavy with broken bones, bruises, and such but no deaths were reported by Medical. Science and Engineering were awash in busy work over the next several days compiling and downloading the information they had gathered of the GNz-11 galaxy and their encounters with the protomatter forms and the local alien life there.

Mini-Fayth or Hope as she now was known by was given a berth on Starbase 243, the little mini-version of Fayth the form CSO fate was unknown but she certainly had a wealth of opportunity to experience her new life ahead of her. Q it seems never did show back up to pout or gloat or anything else for the crew getting home under their own means. Maybe they had without realizing it settled the Q’s debate on how they would react.......stubborn and independent to the end.

With a major refit and repair cycle in order, Fleet Captain Andone has given everyone two weeks leave for R&R, their time in that distant galaxy no doubt had scared some of the crew and requests for reassignment and such in safer havens were soon coming across her desk opening demands for new positions to be filled. What future adventures lay in wait for the Ark Angel and her heroic crew was anyone’s guess, but they would likely not be dull that was for sure!
