Drudoc seemed in thought, “..I am hesitant to go exploring quite yet until we know how the alien rabbit got aboard. For now let’s see if there is anything more locally here among these ships we can exchange our ‘credit of information’ for.” Drudoc said.

Turning to regard her XO fully, “..Send out a wide band transmission offering to exchange information for this area of known space, from an engineering, scientific and cultural stand point. Let’s see what comes back. Add anything else you feel is worth to look for or offer..” She said.

=^=Weir to Captain Andone.=^= Caelian’s dubious voice came over the comm channel. =^=Captain, if we’re not indisposed with anything I’d like to request that we take the Ark Angel back to where we discovered the protoforms. We’re working on an alternative to the slipstream drive, but we need more information on their energy type.=^=

Drudoc’s voice came back on to the comms “..Andone here, we’ll set course presently Ensign..” She said, turning to the NE at helm she said. “..Set course for the nebula warp 4.” She said.

A moment later the feeling of the Ark Angel jumping to warp was felt slightly. After a few more minutes at warp the feeling of dropping from warp was felt, and Drudoc’s voice came back over the comms “..Andone to Ensign Weir, we’re on location, anything more you need from us up here?..” She asked then.

A moment later, a console at the bridge’s rear chirped to inform the crew an upload of the requisite information was available. =^=I’m hoping that, since our new friend is a version of Miss Sharah, she’ll be able to sense her own kind and give us a better idea of where to look.=^=

Drudoc turned to the NE at the science console “..Begin scans for the protomatter wave form as requested.” She said.

Nodding the NE got to work, quickly coming back with three very large planet sized protomatter forms. “..I’m picking up three large protomatter forms within scanning range fitting this profile, they seemed gathered around three large masses of Boridium just on the edge of the nebula..” He said transmitting his findings to the holodeck as well

in that moment another call came in and the feline purring voice of the Chief Engineer came through the comm =^=”Engineering to Bridge we are about as ready as we are going to be down here this will either work or it will blow up in our faces spectacularly!”=^=

Drudoc mentally thought to herself that the words did not seem too reassuring. Still she did not voice her thoughts out loud. =/\= Understood Lieutenant, standby we’re currently wrapping up an experiment I believe in the holodeck on Ensign Caelian’s ‘thought drive’..=/\= She said.

=^=Weir to Bridge.=^= Caelian’s voice was calm, determined. Focused. =^=Captain, it seems there are protoforms entering the end-stage of their existence not far from our current position. I’ve got my team started on the modifications, but without knowing exactly how long we have until this event I’d like to request additional hands. With everyone’s help, we could be ready to scoop up the energy we need and be on our way within a half-hour.=^=

Some time later, Caelian’s voice again crackled across the comm. =^=Weir to Bridge. Captain, we’re about as ready as we can be here. Remember, our integrity measures will only give us about five minutes after we begin collecting energy before we either need to use it or dump it. Safe hunting.=^=
