It was an hour or two after the mission briefing earlier in the day since Q had stranded them in this galaxy. Drudoc had decided to check in on various staff and sections of the ship where she could. Her latest endeavor was bringing her to the CMO’s office in sickbay 1. She knew the staff there were likely working on local medical related threat assessments for this new region of space they were in. Straightening her uniform she pressed the chime to the CMO’s office.

“Enter,” Hayley replied after the chime. The doors opened revealing the Captain standing outside the entrance. “Captain,” Hayley responded. “Do come in and welcome. Can I offer you anything from the replicator?”

Jr.Lt. Marshall, CMO

”..A glass of water would be welcome.” Drudoc said taking a seat.

Once given it Drudoc sipped it a moment. “..So how are you and your staff taking our recent developments?” She inquired getting right to the point, she figured it was necessary to get to the point directly.

“They seem to be taking it remarkably well actually,” Hayley replied, “Their work has been exemplary and the initial emergency was handled smoothly and effectively.” She paused for a moment to gather her thoughts. “If they are anything like me, though, now that things are calmer, I expect the reality is going to start kicking in. I have to admit I am more than a little bit shaken by it all.” Hayley sighed and wrapped her hands around her cup of tea. The warmth was soothing to her.
