First off thank you for stepping up to the plate in running STF whether it’s an official capacity or not. My question is since the successful launch of Exodus how are you going to keep things running smoothly for 8mos?

So this is an interesting question because it depends on how you define smooth. Not to be facetious but the answer depends on your expectations and what you can perceive.

From the average members perspective the executive seems to run fairly well. It mostly just ticks over pushing the paperwork to cope with AWOLs and the ever changing personnel requirements from day to day. If that’s your definition of smooth then the answer is have rubber stamp will prez.

But behind the scenes the reality can be very different. I’ve likened stf government to a old drunk who stumbles about the place and occasionally falls down a hill and some days that’s accurate some days that’s harsh and some days that’s charitable.

My definition of smooth is not just functioning but functioning well. Nothing is ever perfect and like a well oiled machine a few tweaks here and there would go along way day to day. But every 5000kms or so you gotta swap the air and oil filters out and do a full service.

That’s roughly where we are at. We need to do a full and comprehensive look at stf and figure out what and how we need to make changes to best utilise exodus instead of the half measures of just tacking stuff on and a. hoping for the best and b. creating a future maintance legacy that will only grow over time.
