First off thank you for stepping up to the plate in running STF whether it’s an official capacity or not. My question is since the successful launch of Exodus how are you going to keep things running smoothly for 8mos?

Well first this is one of the themes myself and Tony feel strongly about. Almost every Presidential Election at STF seems to boil down to major policy changes or major changes to existing bylaws etc…Its that feeling that we need to wipe the slate clean and do something. We, Tony and I, do not feel that way. STF is a very mature club. Our rules have been debated and created and then debated again. They have been tried and trued in the crucible of game play and government. We think STF is at the point where we don’t necessarily need new rules or tinkering with the old. They, for the most part, work well. Our government works well. Site management, TECH. works well. Lets concentrate this term on recruitment. First by allowing the current MAC initiatives to play out. Lets see if they work. I think we will see results from them but a report, that is already planned to come out in a few months, will tell us for sure.

Continuity sometimes is thought to be a bad thing. In STF more so at times. However we feel its a necessary thing in this stage of our club. I want to personally concentrate on recruitment by giving to MAC ideas and an open door to try whatever is within the rules to concentrate on getting new members. Retention will take care of itself under our team. We already have shown over and over, year in and year out, that we care about the club and manage our ships or greater RP areas well. Our RP areas have good retention for crew members because we are fair, firm and most of all fun. We make our RP areas a fun place to be and one people feel a connection to. That is our mission with the Club in general.

Running smoothly also comes down to picking the right people in the right places. Tony and I feel our connections in the Club and good management practices show we will pick the right people. Turning over the apple cart is an easy thing to do. In fact STF is like that same apple cart. Don’t balance it right and it falls over. Push too fast and you will crash it. Do nothing and it doesn’t move. We believe in and support moving forward with continuity and care. The cart is secure and the apples well balanced. Lets elect two people who will manage it well and move it forward with care and concern.
