Greetings all,

The gifts from the Engineering Department keep on coming. Linds, Cale and Nick have returned their Nightingale-class Medical Cruiser back to us for another round of reviews. All members of the club are invited to review the specs, but as it is intended to be the replacement for the current McCoy class used by the Ogawa, past, present or future members of the Ogawa crew as well as those with real world interest and experience in medical facilities are especially invited to do so. All participants are reminded to keep any discussion productive and impersonal. The review will run until the 10th January 2021.

CHANGELOG
+ Adjusted deck naming to make it simpler and explained the designation for the overlapping decks.
+ Included patient capacity in hospital modules
+ Changed ‘Primary Care’ to General Care to reduce naming confusion

CONCLUSION
The Nightingale-class is a state-of-the-art mobile hospital that is not only adaptable but can provide other essential services as a front-line Starfleet vessel. Its ability to be flexible allows it to provide vital emergency response across the Federation (and beyond) and serves as a responsive training environment.

As the review period for the Nightingale Class has passed, I am closing this review round.

I would like to thank Joe, Cale and Nick for their productive participation in the review of the Nightingale Class.

It makes for a nice read and a nice ship. I’ve read through it a few times myself (both when I initially posted the specs and while it was in its review period) and it makes sense to me and cleared up the confusions I had in my mind about the specs. (And for me, a tribble of limited knowledge when it comes to medical procedures, features and facilities to say that, says volumes about the ship and the specs.
