BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
A. Background Summary:
- Skye was born in Scotland and abandoned as a child at 6months. No trace of birth family have been found despite multiple investigations. With no living relatives traceable she was moved to Kirriemuir Scotland to reside with the JM Barrie Foundation where she was later adopted by Andrew and Dianne Ryan who moved to Edinburgh. She was raised there and developed a love of science and chess from an early age.

Her adopted father worked as a diplomatic advisor in her early years and her adopted mother as a security officer. Often both were off world at the same time meaning she either traveled with them Or was left with her adoptive grandparents, her fathers parents, Andrew SR and Sandra Ryan.

Through most of her teenage years Skye attended Moray House academy Edinburgh. In her fith year she was awarded national 3D chess champion. She entered medical school on the urging of her grandfather, a retired physics teacher. During her second year she developed Thalasian flu and missed a semester. During this time she began to find more interest in Psychiatry. She managed to work to catch up the time missed and graduate with her class.

Her final year was spent on placement on the Hermes class USS Anubis and on graduation from starfleet academy she was assigned to the ship as a junior counsellor and an ensign in the ships medical dept.

B. Personality Summary:
- A social person Skye was very much the centre of her social group until her third year of high school when she discovered her adoptive nature, she rebelled and lost a number of friends as a result. The episode came to an end when she absconded for three weeks and got a tattoo ending up with a group of new friends in Manchester where she was picked up by security forces and kept until her parents came for her. Very observant she’s not shy or afraid to share her opinions. This has often gotten her in trouble
