MISSION: The Blind and the Deaf
The Department Heads and Command Staff have been invited to a dinner to introduce local powers to the Federation. An exotic menu has been planned - CO and XO to wear Dress uniforms, DHs to wear Standard Uniforms.

The JOs have been invited to attend the grand opening of Fat Sam’s, a happening lounge and bar with regular floor shows and an open mic. Nrom, the Lurian Courier has a seat in Fat Sam’s, and the proprietor, a large and plump alien is concerned about him not being here, but is determined to put on a grand opening for the attendees.

Nrom and his crew encountered a Hirogen ship which fired on a small ship (no bigger than a Federation runabout) of unknown origin which defended itself in a most unusual way.
