Avery Kent led a normal life in New Chicago. She was a gifted student and maintained a 4.0 GPA during her school years. As her mother and father were both doctors, it was only natural that she developed a keen interest in medicine. However, the human mind was also of interest. When she’d graduated from her senior classes, she had an immediate ‘in’ to Star Fleet Academy through her parents connections. While at the academy, Avery majored in medicine and minored in psychology. Her knack for achieving high marks continued and she finished her years there and was third in her class.
