Boris Levitsky

Personal Record: Boris Levitsky.

Boris is a young adult with bright blue eyes, dirty blond hair, and a jagged, vaguely crescent shaped birthmark under his left eye. He is somewhat stout and while his eyes carry a inquisitive sparkle, he has a shy, slightly nervous visage to him. He has no beard, but he has a thin moustache in the chevron style. He is of Slavic descent, hailing from the Polish town of Zielona Góra. His accent however, is not quite Polish, and is more Russian than anything. When speaking, he has a tendency to break eye contact.

His mother is a writer born in the Russian city of Volgograd, a rather successful writer of holo-novels in the historical fiction and action-adventure genres. His father was a repairman born in Warsaw, who specialized in the repair of computers and such systems. From a young age, Boris had a love for mechanical systems, and in his youth, quite enjoyed taking apart his toys, only to put them back together. In school, he was considered gifted, excelling in academic subjects such as math and science.

As a teenager, he was quite the inventor, using his off time to construct small devices for his own amusement. While occasionally plagued with minor bouts of insomnia, he spent many hours into the night tinkering with mechanical systems. It was his interest in mechanics and his excellence in academics that lead to him enrolling in Starfleet. He studied science and engineering. Upon graduation, he bought himself a Ushanka-style hat for the occasion, which he wears as a symbol for sentimental reasons. When he was assigned to the Challenger, it became not only a symbol of graduation, but a reminder to preform with excellence, to make both his parents and his people proud.

While some have questioned his decision to move his commbadge to his Ushanka, he was granted permission from his CO upon transfer, as a form of symbolism. His heritage was a source of great pride to him, as does his hat.

Medical History:

It would be wise to ensure joints are not subject to congenital problems, as family is known to have genetic knee problems.

Injury sustained in youth left upper body strength compromised, along with jagged scar on upper left arm. Treated on board USS Challenger, though left elbow joint remains more delicate than typical until properly healed. Care must be taken to avoid excessively strenuous tasks.

Eyes sensitive to sudden changes in light brightness, care must be taken when in bright sunlight. Dimming lenses considered but not formally prescribed. Eyesight otherwise 20/20.
